The aroma of this oil conveys a thirst for life and the energy of the morning.
This lemongrass is native to Western India.
The oil's effects on the body include: powerful broad-spectrum antimicrobial properties with high anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antiviral activity (against Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, herpes simplex viruses types 1 and 2, and Corynebacterium tuberculosis), and fungicidal activity (against Candida albicans and Aspergillus). It also has analgesic, local anesthetic, and anti-inflammatory properties (for various joint, muscle, and neurological pain, tendon problems, sprains, and carpal tunnel syndrome).
Antispasmodic and anticonvulsant effects. Decongestant (injuries). Sedative effect and reduction of vascular resistance, reduces heart rate and blood pressure. Strengthens ligaments and muscles, relieves pain, promotes healing, and reduces swelling due to injuries. Strengthens vascular walls and regulates metabolic processes. Enhances blood and lymph circulation (swelling due to varicose veins, leg fatigue in the evening, and menstrual irregularities). Stimulates digestion (indigestion, dyspepsia), promotes weight loss. Tones mucous membranes during diarrhea and reflux. Antioxidant effect.
The oil's emotional benefits: Reduces anxiety and tension, helps with nervous exhaustion and stress, eliminates feelings of despondency, despair, and lethargy, boosts self-esteem, and restores hope and mental strength. Lemongrass oil promotes concentration, increases productivity, and improves memory.
Stimulates and revitalizes energy in the body, boosting good spirits and optimism throughout the day.
In perfumery, lemongrass is highly volatile. It pairs well with essential oils of basil, petitgrain, geranium, lavender, fennel, oregano, and jasmine.
Important: For external use only (do not spray). Do not use during the first trimester of pregnancy.
Always dilute with a base oil—lemongrass—for this reason, it's best to use lower dosages: for adults, a maximum of 0.6-0.7% (about 1 drop per 10 ml or up to 3-4 drops per 20 ml); for children over 2 years old, no more than 2 drops per 50 ml; for skin lesions, including dermatitis, psoriasis, etc., no more than 1 drop per 50 ml. The oil may cause hoarseness; do not apply to the neck area (where the vocal cords project).
