Hyuganatsu is a Japanese citrus from Miyazaki Prefecture, a rare and noble Japanese citrus whose name means "summer citrus from Hyuga" in southern Kyushu. It was born in the sunny mountains, as the Japanese say, "by the will of the wind and light."
Hyuganatsu grown outside of Kyushu may be sold under various names, such as Konatsu, Tosakonatsu, or New Summer Orange.

Bright and sparkling, like a ray of sunshine in a dewdrop, this fragrance combines sweetness and freshness, with subtle hints of green tea and white flowers. The scent of Hyuganatsu fills the space with joy, inspiration, and inner light.
Hyuganatsu is a symbol of the beginning of summer in Miyazaki Prefecture. The fruit is served as a treat in tea ceremonies and is used to scent yudoko baths and onsen.
In Japanese home aromatherapy, Hyuganatsu is used to purify the air and awaken energy in the morning, as well as to create an atmosphere of clarity and inner uplift.
It is also used to restore fatigue and exhaustion—like the breath of sunshine after rain.
