This type of mint, which typically contains thujone, is used with caution, but Hakka oil from LT is thujone-free, confirming its safe use.
The oil's effect on the body: The oil has a wide range of effects: analgesic, antispasmodic, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, carminative, tonic, choleretic, vasoconstrictor, improves blood circulation. Easily eliminates various types of nausea: due to overeating; psychogenic in nature due to instability of the autonomic nervous system; motion sickness in transport due to instability of the vestibular function, but we do not use it for nausea in pregnant women. Relieves pain (headache, toothache, muscle pain, menstrual pain), spasms, muscle tension. It is used in the treatment and prevention of various dental diseases: halitosis (bad breath), gingivitis, stomatitis. Japanese mint oil is effective in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract - heaviness in the stomach, dyspepsia, flatulence, impaired intestinal peristalsis, heartburn, etc. Deodorizes.
